Dillions Vineyard was founded by husband and wife, David and Lisa Trott, in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in West Sussex. Their planted their vines in May 2019 on an elevation between sixty and ninety metres above sea level. The whole family has since been tending and learning and delighting in their growth.
They aim is to make characterful wine that is great company. They grow Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay, along with the lesser-known Bacchus variety. The grapes are all suited to the High Weald terroir of silty loam and hard sandstone.
Once the grapes are harvested they are transported to their winery partner, Defined Wines in Kent, to be pressed, blended and bottled.
